Heaton House Farm Wedding - Katie and Nick

Confetti at Heaton House Farm

Heaton House Farm Weddings

Getting to go back to Heaton House Farm is super special for us as this is where Nik got married back in 2014 so obviously it holds lots of special memories but what is great is being able to create new memories with some incredible couples and that is exactly what we got to do with Nick and Katie who tied the knot here on 23rd September 2023.

With Heaton House Farm having its own unique and specially created bridal pamper room and 15 on site bedrooms it means that everybody can get ready on site in the morning and no need for chaos and logistics. This Family run venue has thought of everything to ensure the smooth running of a wedding day!

Bride and Groom Prep at Heaton House

With the girls getting ready in the bridal room apptly named “The Hen House” Nick had parked up his racing car out the front and took over one of the bigger bedrooms with the boys. While all was pretty calm with Katie and her girls in the morning the same can’t be said for the boys. With beers flowing it’s safe to say that some of the boys needed a little help in getting dressed, Nick included.

Once the boys were sorted Katie had her finishing touches of make up applied and was in her dress in a flash and it was time to see dad. These moments with dad were so emotional and it was so lovely to witness.

Ceremony and Reception at Heaton House Farm

Now here at Bellis and Bryant we love an emotional wedding and a groom that isn’t affraid to cry and Nick was no exception to this. He had warned us that he had already cried when opening his wedding present from Katie and then when she walked down the aisle he went again. With a super lovely ceremony filled with emotions and laughter it was super clear to us that these two were made for each other.

After the ceremony it was time for drinks and the entertainment everyone had been looking forward to, Stealth the F1 Racer, a full size racing simulator which went down a storm with Katie diving in in her wedding dress!

Wedding Photos at Heaton House Farm

Now another thing Heaton House Farm has up its sleeve for all of its couples is the secret water garden. Tucked away behind a secret door is the tranquil water gardens reserved just for the newley weds and their photographer and videographer of course. A special secret garden to escape to for 15 minutes of peace and some truly stunning photos too.

Heaton House Wedding Parties

After the reception it was down to the meal and speeches and into the party. By this point we already knew how much Katie and Nick were meant to be together but with some beautiful speeches this was solidified even more with stories of their first dates and how Katie has supported Nick with his racing and become an integral part of the race team even if she did crash his car.

With speeches wrapped it was onto the first dance and party time and you know its going to be good when the first dance drops straight into jump around by house of pain and nobody bats an eyelid. It was a full on party crowd and I think Nick and Katie only left the dancefloor briefly for one last photograph and a couple of shots of Jager before we left them partying into the early hours!
